Hello!
This is a compilation of all the interesting things that I have had the pleasure of working on, in collaboration with some wonderful people.
It is not a homage to any particular style but rather my explorations and ability to create things anew, rather than be tied down by a particular train of thought or theme or style.
I find the greatest joy in bringing people's dreams to life and it is humbling to know that in the process I get to create an environment where lifelong memories are created. I love a good design challenge and I believe that with each design I learn something new, not just from the process of developing the design but also from the very people for whom it is being designed.
My story
Architecture is meant not just to be a sculptural form but a structure that adds meaning to what is built around. And so I think architecture and Interior design go hand in hand. I studied architecture, but learnt Interior design along the way. Architecture and Interior design each pose their own challenges and one cannot take precedence over the other.
I have always been happy to oblige people with their wildest ideas simply because the world of design is only as vast as the human mind can imagine it to be, infinite I should say. As much as my role in the projects has been to guide a client, I have also been a keen observer and imbibing all knowledge related to design from the craftsmen who bring these ideas to life. I started Yellow Dot Studio with a partner because I wanted to work outside the box, outside the niches that my previous companies had so wonderfully carved for themselves. I work with AutoCad, Sketchup(3d), Photoshop, MS Office and a bit of Revit.
"What is my design story?", well I am still discovering that!
